Andy began playing the drums at the age of 12 and by his mid-teens was being singled out as an unusual talent by a number of bands and was playing professionally before he left school. He was taught by the renowned Bob Armstrong, a specialist in latin styles & he developed a talent which crosses all genres & is much in demand as a drummer alongside his Vocal Percussion.
Andy's drumming styles cross all genres and more specifically he has worked in depth with a number of country rock bands & artists, including Nashville artists Glen Mitchell, Sarabeth & the Ultimate Eagles tribute band.
Current regular band appearances include the Paul da Vinci Explosion, funk fusion band West 54, annual Jazz concert series in Chelmsford & Dance act Electroswing.
Andy's solid technique crosses all styles, including Jazz, Country Rock, Bluegrass, Funk/Latin Fusion and Rock.
