Andy developed his unusual talent as a Vocal Percussionist by imitating sounds he played on the drum kit as a teenager. Through experimenting with his sounds, he created his own unique style as a 'Human Drum Kit' with focus on groove & rhythm.
For almost 20 years, Andy was the Vocal Percussionist for the famous Acappella band The Magnets, with record deals & 2 chart hits, appearing at Edinburgh Festival, Adelaide & Perth Festivals & regular major tours of the UK & Germany.
In 2015, along with singers Steve & Fraser from the Magnets, he formed the acappella trio We3. With We3, Andy is part of a headlining act, performing special guest shows for Celebrity, P&O & Princess Cruises.
Andy has also formed a Classical Crossover Duo OperaBeatz! with his partner soprano Samantha Hay.
As well as performing regularly as a guest artist for Paul da Vinci, Elecro-Swing dance act, to name a few, Andy also loves to share his 'Beatbox' style teaching workshops in Vocal Percussion.
